The extraction and production of hydrocarbons is similar to other manufacturing processes, it is not 100% efficient. Inefficiencies create waste. In the oil & gas industry, processing waste is expensive. It must be carefully handled and disposed of properly.
RHST Industries and its clean technology can reduce the cost of managing oil waste. Our technology can recover the residual hydrocarbons in the waste stream, creating incremental value and making the remaining material cleaner and less costly to manage. We are redefining oil waste processes.
TECHNOLOGY

The Re-usable Hydrocarbon Sorbent (RHS) technology may appear simple, but it took many years of development to optimize the proprietary formula. Round in shape, light as popcorn and about 7mm in diameter, it is very unassuming.
The RHS technology has the ability to retain hydrocarbons and repel water. This reaction requires no catalyst or chemical additives, and only a simple process to recover the hydrocarbons from solids or water. In this way, our technology is an effective medium to remove hydrocarbons from water or solids with little energy
